Wythall

Thank you for visiting this consultation website and taking the time to learn about Bellway’s proposals for high-quality, sustainable development in Wythall.  

Bellway Strategic Land have undertaken this consultation to hear from the local community and to help better understand the aspirations of the village and the priorities for the new neighbourhood.   

Land South of Houndsfield Lane has been identified in Bromsgrove District Council’s Draft Development Strategy as a possible Site for the sustainable development of new homes and therefore Bellway is currently preparing a planning application for up to 875 new homes, a primary school, a local centre, a car park, public open space and associated infrastructure between Wythall and Drakes Cross.  

Our Vision

Our vision is to deliver modern and sustainable homes in distinctive neighbourhood areas within a framework of expansive green space, reinforcing existing landscape features and habitats. 50% of the new homes we deliver will be affordable homes.  

To support the sustainable growth of the area, our proposals include the provision of new community facilities, including a primary school and local centre.  

We also intend to deliver a new ‘Mobility Hub’ to provide much-needed parking for Wythall Train Station, helping to resolve existing street parking issues in the area and encouraging sustainable travel.
